FastCast Privacy Policy

TL;DR: FastCast doesn't track you. We don't have a server. We don't collect data. Everything lives on your device.

What we don't do

We don't require an account.
We don't have analytics.
We don't share data with third parties.
We don't use your IDFA or request App Tracking Transparency permission.

What stays on your device

Your podcast subscriptions (RSS URLs)
Playback progress and saved speeds per episode
Your first-launch date (used locally to track the 7-day intro period; never transmitted)
Episodes you've queued
Your training statistics (time listened, time saved)

Network connections

FastCast makes outbound HTTPS requests only to:

The RSS feed servers for podcasts you've added
Audio CDNs hosting the episodes you play
Apple's iTunes Search API (when you use in-app search)
Apple's App Store (for Pro purchase and Restore Purchases)

No FastCast-operated server exists. We cannot see what you listen to.

FastCast Pro (in-app purchase)

FastCast Pro is a one-time $9.99 purchase processed entirely by Apple via StoreKit. Apple provides your purchase receipt directly to FastCast — we do not receive your Apple ID, payment info, or any other identifying data. Your purchase entitlement is verified on your device using Apple's cryptographic signature.

Family Sharing is supported via Apple's standard mechanism; family members inherit the Pro entitlement without additional purchases.

Children's privacy

FastCast is rated 4+ and safe for all ages. We do not knowingly collect any data from anyone of any age.

Changes to this policy

If we change how FastCast handles data, we'll update this page and bump the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
