FastCast Terms of Service

1. Who we are

FastCast is made by Petra Coaching. Contact: support@petracoaching.com.

2. What FastCast does

FastCast plays podcasts you subscribe to via standard RSS feeds, with a progressive speed-training system that gradually increases playback speed as you listen.

3. Free tier

The free tier supports playback from 1.0x to 2.0x with all core features (queue, statistics, milestones up to 2.0x). It requires no account and has no time limit.

4. FastCast Pro (one-time purchase)

FastCast Pro unlocks the full 2.0x–5.0x training curve and all Pro milestones. It is a one-time $9.99 in-app purchase, processed by Apple via StoreKit.

• First 7 days are free: New users get 7 days of full Pro access automatically on first launch, with no payment required and nothing to cancel — there is no subscription.
• Payment: $9.99 USD (prices in other currencies may vary by App Store region) charged only if you explicitly tap "Unlock Pro" — either during or after the first 7 days.
• No subscription: This is a one-time purchase. No recurring charges, no auto-renewal.
• Refunds: Governed by Apple's standard App Store refund policy. Request refunds via reportaproblem.apple.com.
• Family Sharing: Your purchase is shareable with up to 6 Apple IDs in your family group.
• Restore: Open Settings → About FastCast → Restore Purchases to re-activate on a new device.

5. Content

FastCast does not host, control, or own podcast content. Podcasts are streamed directly from feeds and CDNs operated by the podcast creators. FastCast is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of any podcast.

6. Acceptable use

FastCast is for personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to use the app to violate any podcast creator's terms or copyright, to distribute the app's source or artwork, or to attempt to circumvent the paywall.

7. Warranties

FastCast is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We strive to keep it reliable, but podcast feeds change, iOS updates break things, and bugs happen. If something's wrong, email us — we reply within 48 business hours.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Petra Coaching's total liability for any claim arising from FastCast is limited to the amount you paid for FastCast Pro (or zero, if you use the free tier).

9. Changes

We may update these terms when we add features or ship significant changes. Material changes will be flagged in the app's release notes and here.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA.
